Cleaning
motherboard in the PC
Purpose :
to prevent the broken motherboard
after cleaning to maximize the result of cleaning is done by technician.
Scope :
this procedure is applied for the
technician in cleaning motherboard in the pc.

Instructions :
1.
Disconnect the power socket on the motherboard.
2.
Remove the RAM on the motherboard.
3.
Remove all exsiting cards in slots.
4.
Remove panel socket on the motherboard.
5.
Idc. Unplug the cable that connects the harddrive, CD
room.
6.
Disconnect coolant, coolant locking swivel all stuck up
and the pull it, see arrows.
7.
Again. If already attached to the motherboard, remove
the boltsthat attach to the motherboard by using a screwdrive.
8.
Clean the dust on the entire surface on the entire
surface on the entire surface on the motherboard.
9.
Clean the processor, heatsink by using a soft brush.
10.
After everythig
is clean of dust reinstall the motherboard into the chassis.
11.
Replace the cables that had removablee plug it back
card, pc, VGA, RAM.
Monitoring :
1.
To cleaning motherboard i need 30 minutes to do it.
2.
And to maintain i need only 1 person.
Corrective action :
1.
Symptoms
a.
Once enable, no monitor display indicator lights LED,
paneled fron lit. Led inductor lights
flashing monitors, power supply fan and the processor fan spin. There is
no beep sound speaker.
2.
Solutions
a.
The first step, disconnect all power cables connected
to the mains, monitor data cable, cable keyboard, mouse, and all cables are
connected to the cpu, then screw the cover off all cashing in a open cashing
please you also remove other components ie voltage of the power supply cable is
connected to the motherboad.
Verification and
record keeping
1.
Technician record the time, day, date, the tools used
and the corrective actions taken.
2.
Recordings that have been made should have been stored
for up to one year.
